Infra / Prototype pricing

Infra Prototype Pricing

Infra prices bounded work in USD-equivalent target value. BIGHT is the internal work-payment unit, and the BIGHT amount changes with the accepted BIGHT value at quote time.

Pricing Rule

These are prototype display values, not final tariffs or payment promises.

Target unitUSD-equivalent work value
Settlement unitBIGHT at accepted quote-time value
Prototype reference1 BIGHT = $0.01 USD-equivalent target value
ConversionBIGHT due = ceiling(USD target value / accepted BIGHT value)

Anonymous Upload

Anonymous upload is its own product surface. It prices actual file size, selected storage class, and pricing profile through the intake service.

Profileanonymous_immutable
Default tierbasic
UnitBillable MiB, rounded up from bytes
Formulaceil(file bytes / 1 MiB) * profile rate * duration units + class and policy additions
BoundaryNo contract account required; contract-bound uploads use the contract lane

Service Tiers

Service tiers are access and handling boundaries. They are not risk scores.

enterpriseCustom verifier set, governance-only host adapter, or extended evidence retentionExplicit contract or opt-in use only

Storage Liter Prototype

Storage Liters are usage units. Anonymous upload quotes are MiB-billed at intake. They are not reserve assets, yield tokens, reward claims, or allocation rights.

Class C ArchiveCold retention and low-touch archive records1 liter / MiB-duration$0.01 / MiB-duration1 BIGHT / MiB-duration

Anonymous Upload Anchors

Anonymous upload uses a smoothed binary-unit curve so larger uploads do not jump across hard cliffs.

Example Workloads

The same USD target can settle in more or fewer BIGHT as BIGHT value moves.

Contract Storage Rates

Contract storage is priced in GB units because it is an invoice-backed obligation surface, not a one-off public upload.

Normal Contract Baseline

Contract accounts are invoice-backed product surfaces. Chain-to-chain service windows are reserved obligations, not anonymous uploads or generic retail storage quotes.

Normal Contract Formula

The normal contract floor covers baseline service and hardware. Usage work is added when the contract creates extra burden.

Security Opt-In Pricing

Security opt-in prices packet return, evidence handling, host review support, challenge lifecycle, and final-outcome closure.

Opt-In Formulae

Normal contracts and security opt-in remain separate so storage does not subsidize the review machinery.

Read And Download Work

  • Public rented reads price read size, delivery, proof, and egress burden.
  • Private receipt-backed reads add receipt-check burden.
  • Cold restore reads add restore work before delivery.
  • All examples convert to BIGHT at quote time, not by a fixed future BIGHT price.

Proof And Repair Work

  • Availability proof prices proof scope and verification burden.
  • Repair premiums stay local to the class creating repair risk.
  • Recovery and handover work price the admitted obligation they protect.
  • Higher failure intensity, redundancy burden, or repair outflow can raise cost.

BIGHT Conversion Examples

USD target stays constant while BIGHT amount changes with accepted BIGHT value.

Public Boundary

Prototype rates explain the pricing posture. They do not open production service or economic entitlement.

Can include later

Utilization pressure, egress, proof work, restore work, repair premium, latency, margin, governance policy, and class constraints.

Does not create

Storage entitlement, yield, allocation, fixed redemption value, fixed future BIGHT price, or reward eligibility.

Where to verify

Use the Infra surface for public testnet intake and official public pages for receipt boundaries.
